MINT Snowboarding since 2006. Award winning snowboard school

Splitboard Guiding

Splitboarding is the ultimate way to enjoy epic adventures and untouched powder descents in the backcountry. If you have always wanted to explore the backcountry on a snowboard then splitboarding is definitely for you!

Are you intrigued and keen to give splitboarding a go for the first time? We can teach you the techniques of splitboard touring as well as essential mountain safety skills.

Or maybe you are an experienced splitboarder and there is a mountain peak you want to go ride or you are ready for your first hut to hut ski tour?

At MINT Snowboarding we have one of the few fully qualified snowboard instructors in the world who are also a fully qualified Mountain Guide working with us. David Gladwin is a UIAGM Mountain Guide who has been living, working and playing in the Alps for over 20 years. David can also guide ski touring groups or mixed groups of skiers and snowboarders.

PRIVATE SPLITBOARD GUIDING

From 1 day tours to multi-day trips, we offer splitboard guiding and routes throughout the Alps, as well as in Morzine, Avoriaz as the rest of the Portes du Soleil. Join us on classic routes or talk to us and we can create your own bespoke splitboard adventure to remote areas, staying overnight in mountain huts.

Join us to discover both the classic and the lesser known ski tours around the Portes du Soleil on a snowboard; Pointe de Chalune, Pointe de Chesery, La Berte / Col de Cou, Pointe de la Golaise and many more. There are a huge range of routes available in the Portes du Soleil area, from first-time splitboarder routes through to seriously steep couloir descents and, of course, everything in between.
