I thoroughly enjoyed the MINT Beginners / Improvers camp in February 2025, so much so that I plan to return for the technical course next year! The Farmhouse chalet was beautiful and the meals provided were yummy! I made some awesome friends who I plan to continue snowboarding with. Big shoutout to my snowboard instructor Simone. Absolutely the best coaching ever.

My instructor Iban was so helpful and his patience was amazing. From the beginning of the first lesson he made you feel like a mate.

Dont know where to start. Listen being a 55 year old and taking up snowboarding in the last two years I knew this would be a challenge. I have booked with other schools in the past. yes they were ok. But never came across as being that concerned. I was just a lesson not a pupil that wanted to learn. However Mint far far outweigh the others. My instructor Iban was so helpful and his patience was amazing. From the beginning of the first lesson he made you feel like a mate. Totally explained what I had to do, went through the moves with me, encouraged me to keep pushing. Most of all you could see that he wanted me to learn, he wanted me to leave a snowboarder. Lets put it in simple terms. If you want to learn, be treated as a person and come away having learnt an amazing amount in the lessons then look no further. USE MINT! You have been advised please take this advice, save money as you will learn! WELL DONE TO THE MINT TEAM. BE BACK AS SOON AS I CAN. Iban. "Thank You"

Another fantastic snowboarding adventure with MINT in Engelberg, Switzerland. This was a MINT trip, lots of fresh snow and first tracks descents in an amazing freeride area with a stoked crew led by Dave Gladwin. Dave knows the mountains’ secrets, encourages a great team spirit and shares our snowboard enthusiasm no matter the conditions to get maximum fun out of every day spent on the mountain. It’s been a long wait to return to snowboarding the last two years and MINT have done everything possible to make good and reorganise trips that I have unfortunately had to cancel in 2021 and in January this year. This is an amazing small, independent company, and it’s Tammy and the MINT team’s passion for snowboarding and snowboarders that makes their experiences the best. Thank you!

Just completed a splitboard week in Norway (Tromso) with MINT. This is my third trip with MINT and as always everything was just perfect. The dedication of Tammy and Dave to making each trip a unique experience is fantastic. Incredible riding and exploring, an all time attention to every detail made for an unforgettable week. Many kudos to our local guide Merrick Johnson from Tromso Ski Guides for bringing and sharing her wealth of experience to take the most of everyday and make us ride and tour in confidence.

I just came back from the 2025 MINT Japow trip and it didn't disappoint! Fantastic group of fellow boarders, great guides, and excellently hosted. We had a great time exploring three different areas of Hokkaido during our 10 day trip and experiencing the beauty of the Japanese mountains was amazing - once in a lifetime trip!

It’s worth every minute

Our instructor knew where to go & taught us a huge amount about the snow, the mountain and about Portes du Soleil. Even he fixed our position on the boards... Simply great!

Having Francois as off piste instructor was simply great. He knew where to go and taught us a huge amount of details about the snow, the mountain and about Portes du Soleil. Even he fixed our position on the boards. Magic places in powder between trees, places for jumping, max rotation....simply great. We'd definitively do it again.

We had a great time basically. I went home feeling like I'd made 2 new friends and knew an amazing instructor to ask for next year.

I did a set of group lessons. We had three in our group and Valerio was our instructor. We had a great time basically. I went home feeling like I'd made 2 new friends and knew an amazing instructor to ask for next year. Valerio was great- he was careful not to push us too much and set us something to practice each day (and discouraged us from enthusiastically launching ourselves down a blue when we couldn't turn yet- something I did last time and deeply regretted). He was also really fun and tried to help us relax by making us wave our arms around and dance when we'd clearly lost a bit of confidence. We had a lot of falls and a lot of laughs. He joined us for tea and a chat in the cafe after 2 of the lessons, which we were really pleased about; it made us all feel like a real team. MINT had matched my group really well- everyone had done a little bit of boarding before and nobody held anyone back, but even when one of us was a bit slow Valerio handled it really well (we all had a turn being that person!). I liked the format of lessons in the morning and then going off and practicing. I practiced with my classmates because I came with a bunch of skiing friends.

Lofoten Splitboarding

Quick note to say how good the Lofoten, Norway trip was. Really well organised, great lodge and thankfully we were very lucky with incredible snow. I definitely recommend MINT

I was in the deep end learning splitboarding and will be forever grateful to both Dave and David for their guidance, patience and encouragement. The rest of the group was great fun too, so all in all a brilliant experience and I'll definitely recommend MINT! Thanks so much and hopefully see you for the technical course next winter.

I went to off-piste camp in Sestriere with MINT. MINT sourced a local freeride legend (literally) to be our guide and also provided another very experienced rider to be at tail of the group. Ratio was 6 guests and 2 MINT provided instructors. Fabulous terrain, and great experience. As always with MINT on these type of trips.

I would describe MINT as incredible. I did the Freestyle Camp. I gained the most adrenaline I've ever experienced on a snowboard. I cant wait to come back.

I would describe MINT as incredible. I did the freestyle camp. I went with the mindset I simply want to come away an improved rider, I never expected to have my comfort zones expanded so much. I've previously spent holidays charging down mountains as fast as possible. Never used to gain air off anything as felt completely uncomfortable in the air. I now feel so much more comfortable in the air and hitting jumps I never dreamt possible. I'm already looking at going back for more courses. I gained the most adrenaline I've ever experienced on a snowboard. Thanks for everything and cant wait to come back. Jon

TLDR (Too Long, Didn't Read): Amazing experience - thoroughly recommend!

TLDR: Amazing experience - thoroughly recommend! Joined the April freestyle camp as a solo boarder. Booking and details were easy, queries quickly answered through the online chat, transfers and flights booked and was good to go. Catered chalet through Northstar who arranged skipass and the chalet hosts, Hannah and Desiree were amazing. Catered for 3 veggies, one lactose out of a group of 8 and always happy to help with extras requests. One of the MINT team joined first night to run us through the week and then mid week and end of to catch up which is a nice touch, especially when armed with merch! :D 2 instructors Gerard and Francois both brilliant, catered to different levels, group split where needed but most of the trip together which allowed for individual tips and suggestions while riding. Very easy to have a chat during the lessons for in-depth analysis and suggestions on how exactly to improve. They pushed the level for all involved while keeping it safe but progressive. Group itself was uniquely random, mix of age and gender but you could barely tell - all absolute legends. Hope to see them all on the slopes again! Awesome time start to finish!

Tech performance camp

MINT has been my discovery of the year. This camp has shown me that you can still take your snowboarding to the next level, even if you’re not twenty anymore...

MINT has been my discovery of the year. Here I was, thinking camps are for teenagers, but had the best time amongst people of all ages, backgrounds, nationalities and snowboard experience levels. The chalet was great, hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Same goes for the people of MINT. Not only are they seasoned instructors who know how to inspire and energize, they are also great company in general, welcoming, open minded and patient. Will most definitely be back for more, this camp has shown me that you can still take your snowboarding (and snowboarding life) to the next level, even if you’re not twenty anymore... Nina

Tammy, from working the magic and creating a new group out of nowhere, to answering every single question I had (blame my excitement). The combination of the social with returning legends and the amazing snowboarding classes with Anna — she’s truly the most encouraging and patient instructor I’ve seen (????????)— have been so much fun that I am already thinking of coming back next year. :)) In the meantime I am thinking to go to a dome to keep my muscles warm. I think I have gotten the most welcome snowboarding bug. ????✌????

Huge powder fields, cliff drops, couloirs, gullies, technical riding advice & avalanche training all done in a calm & reassuring manner with loads of laughs along the way.

Great for kids snowboarding lessons

Great to find a company that puts snowboarding at its heart rather than an add on to skiing

We found MINT when we were looking for intermediate/advanced snowboarding lessons for my 12 year old during half term in Morzine. His skills developed significantly over the week in a small group of young teens with an English speaking instructor. He had a total blast and was boarding confidently all round Morzine/Les Gets. Will definitely be booking again. Great to find a company that puts snowboarding at its heart rather than an add on to skiing lessons provision. Well done team MINT!

A Fantastic Time With MINT Once Again For Our Kids

The lessons are all about learning through fun whilst improving their technical ability and allowing them to believe in themselves.

Two years ago in Morzine our eldest two (then 7 and 5) had a brilliant time learning with Iban, while our youngest (2.5 at the time) had a couple of sessions with Anna that he absolutely loved. We've just finished a week in Avoriaz where the older two (now 9 and 7) had a week of group lessons, while the youngest (now 4) had four days of private lessons, all with Simone. We're so impressed with all the instructors that they've had from MINT, making the lessons all about learning through fun whilst improving their technical ability and allowing them believe in themselves. Rather than trying a new place every year, we'd rather come back to the same area just so that the kids can enjoy lessons with MINT again, and improve both their general riding as well as their freestyle skills. We'd love for them to have any of the instructors they've had before again, but we also know that if it's someone new next time they'll also be getting a guaranteed fantastic experience!

December 2021 Tech Performance Camp

From day 1 I had such a blast. Anyone looking to progress their riding should certainly do this.

Over many years I’ve had private lessons with MINT & I’ve always seen progress in my technique. So I decided to try the technical performance camp & from day 1 I had such a blast, all the instructors are super friendly & great teachers. Kids first trip to the snow ????????

Cheers guys for making our kids first trip to snow an awesome one

MINT snowboarding were absolutely fantastic!! We booked our kids age 8 and 4 on to a few sessions to get them learning the basics of being on a board. By the end of the week our 8 year old was linking turns and shredding happily down the baby slopes !!! They even managed to get both of them up on the lifts which really surprised me. The guys at MINT were all friendly, approachable and easy for the kids to get on with . It was also easy booking process, nothing was too much trouble!!! Can’t recommend them enough! Cheers guys for making our kids first trip to snow an awesome one

Would 100% recommend if you want to learn from patient and kind instructors who teach you real technique.

Couldn't recommend MINT Snowboarding enough! We went as a company, with 3 x beginner snowboarders and our instructor, Valerio, taught us so much within 2 days of lessons. We could hit the slopes by the second day without him, and without falling over too much. The team at MINT were extremely helpful throughout the whole booking process, I would 100% recommend if you want to learn from patient and kind instructors who teach you real technique.

Glad to report he's now hooked and already talking about when we can go boarding again.

Just a quick message to say a massive thank you to Tammy for the lessons last week for my 7 year old, he was really chuffed with how much he progressed in just 2xPrivate Lessons having never been on a board before. After the sessions he was able to link his turns and come down the mountain no drama and glad to report he's now hooked and already talking about when we can go boarding again.
