MINT Snowboarding offers specialist teaching for ankle-biters aged 3 to 6. Lessons are focused on learning through fun, enabling children to learn in an exciting and stimulating environment.
We have collaborated with the Burton Riglet program, with specialised fleet of Burton Riglet snowboard equipment available to rent in Morzine, Avoriaz & Les Gets.
Can children this young learn to snowboard instead of skiing? Absolutely! As long as they are keen to learn to snowboard and you opt for shorter taster sessions initially.
Different techniques are needed to teach young kids, with a more hands-on approach to help them with coordination and balance. Thus we offer private tuition, or shared private tuition, to this age group. Lessons can be shared between 2-3 kids at a maximum and this is very much dependent on age and level. For beginners aged 3-4 years they are much better off learning 1-on-1 with an instructor. We will give you advice on what we suggest best for your child.
Shared Private Lessons:
Once you have booked private lessons we are happy to offer your lessons for sharing with another child (generally a max 2 kids per instructor). We can’t guarantee finding a mini shred lesson sharer, but we do usually manage to. The cost per person for a two our private lesson, based on two sharing, is 90€.
+30€ per lesson for each additional child
