LA FOLIE DOUCE AVORIAZ – COMING DEC 18!

In December 2018 Avoriaz will welcome the legendary high altitude aprés venue La Folie Douce to it’s slopes!

La Folie Douce has become one of the best known places to head for apres ski on the piste, with settings across the Alps hosting incredible apres ski parties. This new location in Avoriaz will add to the growing Folie Douce family which already has venues in Val Thorens, Meribel, Saint-Gervais, Alpe d’Huez and Chamonix. La Folie Douce has been entertaining in the snow since 1969 and it’s fair to say they how to throw a party – we can vouch for that!!!

With the Folie Team hosting right in the centre of Avoriaz you won’t be able to miss them! Currently being built, La Folie Douce with it’s famous large terrace will be located in the place of Chalet L’Envers, next to the Yeti bar (one of our meeting points for snowboard lessons in Avoriaz!). This location up on the plateau will mean the perfect sunset setting and an easy snowboard or ski in after an epic day on the mountain.

Similar to the other Folie’s in the Alps, the Avoriaz Folie Douce will have two restaurants; a self service restaurant called La Petite Cuisine open from 11.30-15.00, and a fancier restaurant La Fruitiere open for both lunch and dinner offering something for everyone.

If you’ve not yet experienced a Folie Douce apres party then you are in for an absolute treat. The apres at La Folie Douce Avoriaz will kick off from 2pm – expect an extravagant party, epic DJ’s, dancers, performers, singers, foam cannons and lets not forget the legendary Champagne Shower Sprays!! The atmosphere is always awesome and we have no doubt the Avoriaz Folie Douce Team will make this venue one to remember. See you there for a beer or a vin chaud this winter!
