Travelling solo (as I soon realised 80% of the people there were!), you always have some concerns but the whole gang – instructors, hosts, drivers and riders, were great fun and we quickly became good friends.
The course itself covered way more than I thought and was expertly tailored and adapted throughout the day/week based on conditions (we had it all!) and ability. It’s a fine art instructing a group and the guys (Val and Gerard) had it nailed from day one, ensuring everyone had upped their game each day with one-on-one feedback and tips as we went. It was strangely nice not having to look at a piste map too and being guided all over the resorts, oh hi Switzerland.
The Treeline Chalet team, food, service, and chalets all exceeded expectations (the food was next level), and I don’t think I can go back to self-catering now! The van service to the lift each day also ensured a seamless day – sometimes the bus feels like too much effort.
After being in a progression rut for a few years, I learnt so much and would recommend to anyone at any level to get involved and ride with Mint and Treeline. It’s amazing value too, which is always a bonus.
Thanks Tammy and all involved, see you at Shred Week!
