For Beginners & Improvers the aim is to teach you the fundamentals of the sport to give you a strong base riding level to build on in the future.

For Intermediate & Advanced level riders the aim is to further develop your riding skills and progress all areas of your technical riding to create a solid riding platform across the whole mountain. A full week snowboarding with a professional will make huge changes to your riding.

Accommodation is in a fantastic catered chalet in central Morzine with Northstar Chalets, allowing you to kick back and enjoy a truly relaxed holiday.

MINT – a fantastic experience

“This was my first trip with MINT – a Technical Skills Camp. Tammy, the big boss, asked the right questions and I was quite rightly placed in a group with a number of other, perhaps slightly senior riders. We shredded the mountain hard though as we were lucky and powder was aplenty. I progressed my jumping skills and we worked on our ground tricks also. Our Instructor Iban was excellent. The chalet had great staff and great food. All guests there were MINT snowboarders and the impressively international mix of guests worked really well. I dearly want to go back and I deeply want more powder snowboarding.”

December 2021 Tech Performance Camp

“Over many years I’ve had private lessons with MINT & I’ve always seen progress in my technique. So I decided to try the technical performance camps & from day 1 I had such a blast, all the instructors are super friendly & great teachers.
Anyone looking to progress their riding should certainly do this. Great chance to meet new people.”

Way above expectations

“A million thanks to MINT, Tammy and François !! So many insights and improvements this week, technically speaking as well as a boost in confidence ! Way above expectations ????”

Absolutely Epic!

“Words can’t describe this year epic camp (but I’ll give it a go..), snow conditions, the sun, the mountains air and above all – the MINT crew!
Gerard is like red wine – from camp to camp he is raising the bar of snowboard coaching and setting new standards in that filed. Tammy is the mom and dad of the camp and is there to take care of everyone needs and quirks, and for the rest of the guides: Simone, Anna, Jorge, Julia to name a few are all great fun to have a beer with, meet occasionally on the mountain or just hang in lunch breaks.
If you are looking to take your snowboarding to the next level while having a blast – look no more, you’ve come to the right place!”

This was epic! Too early to book for next year?

“Big THANK YOU to Tammy, Anna & the whole MINT Snowboarding team. This was my very first snowboard camp and it couldn’t have been more epic. ???? Tammy, from working the magic and creating a new group out of nowhere, to answering every single question I had (blame my excitement). The combination of the social with returning legends and the amazing snowboarding classes with Anna — she’s truly the most encouraging and patient instructor I’ve seen (????????)— have been so much fun that I am already thinking of coming back next year in December 2022. :))In the meantime I am thinking to go to a dome to keep my muscles warm. I think I have gotten the most welcome snowboarding bug.”

Snowboard Camp FAQ’s

  • How is the snow in December?

We have been running this Snowboard Camp for the past 16 years, over the same dates in December, and with great success every year. Some years obviously the snow is better than others, but we’ve never suffered from not enough snow to run it. December 2021 was an absolute powder-fest, with by far the best conditions of the whole season in Morzine.

  • Is this holiday suitable if I am travelling alone?

Our snowboard camps are designed with solo-travellers in mind. The vast majority join on their own, so it’s a great way to meet new snowboarding mates from all over Europe and beyond.

The MINT Snowboarding team are friendly and welcoming and will make you feel at ease from the moment you arrive.

If you have any questions about travelling alone, the booking process etc our office team are here to help you. We will make sure that the organisation of your snowboard holiday is simple and stress-free.

  • I'm not sure which camp to book on?

Don’t worry the office team will assess your level and make sure we get you in the right coaching group. Once you are here, there is always the option to move groups should you feel you are progressing faster / slower than expected. You can always discuss any concerns with your instructor or the office team.

The Technical Performance camp and Beginner / Improver camp both stay in the same accommodation in Morzine. It is all one big snowboard camp for everyone of all levels!

  • How many people are in each coaching group?

We have up to 6 people per coaching group.

For the December camp there are generally 8 coaching groups all of different levels. This means there is plenty of scope to move groups should you feel the need.

  • What is the age range of people joining the camps?

Our snowboard camps can range in age from early 20s to 65+! It’s always a complete mix which is what makes it so much fun.

We do take into consideration people’s age when creating coaching groups and when pairing up for shared rooms.
