MINT Snowboarding since 2006. World Snow Award Winners in 2016 & 2017!
Morzine is situated directly below the ski resort of Avoriaz and unlike many purpose-built French resorts it still holds an alpine charm.
Snowboarding in Morzine offers something for everyone. There are plenty of long, wide, tree-lined slopes on the Pleney, perfect for beginners and improvers. The magic carpet on the beginners area also makes it a great resort for kids to learn to snowboard.
For more advanced riders, head to the more challenging slopes of Mont Chery and Chamossiere where fantastic off piste can be found. The Pointe de Nyon is also a great spot for backcountry snowboarding.
For those into freestyle, there is a small snowpark in the Nyon area and a larger park on Mont Chery which is generally quiet and often ridden by locals. For advanced snowboarders Avoriaz is easily accessible and has a number of fantastic snowparks.
Situated in the middle of the Portes du Soleil ski area, Morzine is a great place from which to explore this vast area.
MINT Snowboarding is the only snowboard specific school in the area. MINT offers private lessons, freestyle coaching and backcountry & splitboard guiding. The ski school meeting point is at the bottom of the Pleney telecabine. Lessons are with qualified British snowboard instructors or fluent English speaking instructors.
