TRAVEL GREEN AND GET DISCOUNTS IN MORZINE THIS WINTER!

This year, why not make your journey to the mountains eco-friendly and in doing so receive discounts on your Morzine ski pass, lessons and more. Here at MINT Snowboarding, we are thrilled to support the Eurostar Snow train as a greener way of travel to the Portes du Soleil for UK visitors. We’re offering a 5% discount on our lessons for those who choose this sustainable travel method!

The Return of the Snow Train

The Eurostar Snow train is back for another season, running from mid-December 2024 until the end of February 2025. The service offers a sustainable travel option to the Alps, with departures on Saturdays and returns on Sundays. While it’s not a direct service, it remains a convenient and eco-friendly way to reach us in Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets.

Why Travel by Train?

Travelling by train has many advantages over flying. Here’s why you should consider it:

  • Generous Luggage Allowance: Unlike airlines, trains offer more generous and less strict luggage policies. You can bring your snowboard or skis for free as one of your two pieces of luggage on the Eurostar from London to Paris. The TGV Lyria train from Paris to Geneva also allows ski equipment at no extra cost.
  • Discounts, discounts, discounts: With the AlpinExpress Pass, organised by the local non-profit Montagne Verte, train travel becomes even more attractive. This pass offers exclusive discounts on accommodation, ski hire, lift passes and other services in and around Morzine.
  • Relaxing Journey: Train travel lets you sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey. You can move around freely, access everything in your bags, and even bring your own food and drinks on board.
