MINTs guide to Après-Ski in Morzine!

You just can’t beat a few après-ski drinks after a great day on the hill. Morzine has a great selection of party spots on the slopes as well as bars and clubs nearer the resort centre. We have rounded up our top 5 après-ski bars in Morzine!

The Tremplin

Après at the Tremplin kicks off daily from 16h til 20h.  At the bottom of the Pleney lift in Morzine centre, The Tremplin bar and hotel backs right on to the Pleney piste. There is live music and DJs playing on the terrace, but make sure you wear plenty of layers although the copious drinks and boogying should keep you warm…

Robbos

Bar Robinson is the traditional one stop shop for the infamous Mutzig, a strong local beer. Located on Rue du Bourg right in the centre of Morzine, Robbos (as it’s locally known), doesn’t need any music or entertainment as the bars ambience, full of outerwear clad riders and lines of boards outside combined with the abundance of Mutzig being drunk is guaranteed to provide a top notch après experience.

L’aubergade

L’aubergade is also based at the bottom of the Pleney piste, a little further along than the Tremplin.  It’s a banging place to go when the sun is shining and has a unique cocktail menu designed by Tristan Stephenson of London bar Purl.  A different (posh) take on Apres!  Make sure you try the potato wedges with garlic mayonnaise!

The Bec Jaune

Morzine’s own microbrewery is a great spot for a more chilled out après-ski drink. The Bec Jaune brews a wide variety of it’s own beer, so plenty to sample throughout your stay. The food menu is also fantastic so why not tuck into a homemade burger whilst you are at it! The menu offers tasty options to both vegetarians and vegans too.

Happy Hours

Happy Hours bar is based at the bottom of the Ardent lift in Montriond and is definitely worth a demi or 3 whilst waiting for the Ardent bus. Happy Hours frequently hosts live music & DJ sets which generate huge crowds of both locals and holidaymakers. It’s also not a bad call for lunch as it has a pretty big menu of home-made burgers, hot dogs and crepes. It’s right next to the bus stop, so there is no excuse really!
