Intro

Explore Arctic Norway by Splitboard

If you’re looking for an unforgettable splitboard adventure, few places compare to Arctic Norway.

Designed for experienced snowboarders, this week takes you beyond the ski resorts and into one of Europe’s most dramatic mountain landscapes. Guided by MINT, you’ll earn every descent as you explore snow-covered peaks, deep fjords and remote touring terrain, combining exceptional splitboarding with the relaxed, personal atmosphere that defines every MINT adventure.

Based aboard our floating fjord home, each day begins with a new objective. Guided by the weather, snow conditions and ambitions of the group, we’ll travel by road and ferry to explore an incredible variety of mountains, islands and hidden valleys. Rather than following a fixed itinerary, every day is chosen to make the most of the conditions, ensuring no two adventures are ever the same. Each evening, we return to the warmth of our floating home to enjoy hearty meals, homemade cakes, good company and stories from the day’s adventure.

The experience extends beyond the riding itself. Travelling through the fjords, you may spot seals, otters or even whales, while clear evenings can sometimes reward us with the Northern Lights above the mountains. These moments can never be guaranteed, but they’re all part of what makes a week in Arctic Norway so memorable.

Is it for me?

The Norway Splitboard Adventure is for advanced snowboarders with previous off-piste experience. You should be confident riding a variety of terrain and snow conditions, including tree runs and steeper slopes.

A very good level of fitness is essential, as you’ll need to climb on your splitboard for around two to three hours each day before riding back down.

No previous splitboard experience is necessary. We’ll introduce you to the equipment and help you develop the techniques needed to travel efficiently throughout the week.
