Une invitation qu&rsquo;il ne peut pas refuser :<\/p>\n<p><em>Monter sur le podium est assez exaltant pour un snowboarder britannique et cela m&rsquo;a un peu stimul\u00e9. Je me suis dit pourquoi ne pas tenter le coup ? Je ne rajeunis pas. Je me suis dit qu&rsquo;avant d&rsquo;avoir 40 ans, je devrais tenter ma chance. C&rsquo;est pour \u00e7a que je suis l\u00e0.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Le snowboarder de 39 ans trouve sa place parmi les meilleurs freeriders du monde et doit faire face \u00e0 la concurrence d&rsquo;autres l\u00e9gendes internationales de la grande montagne comme Xavier de la Rue. Mais avec une exp\u00e9rience rivalisant avec les meilleurs d&rsquo;entre eux et Chamonix comme terrain d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement (un r\u00eave de freerider), il est d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9ussir :<\/p>\n<p><em>J&rsquo;aimerais en gagner une pour \u00eatre parfaitement honn\u00eate et le bon jour, si j&rsquo;ai la bonne ligne, je pense que je peux gagner, c&rsquo;est donc ma motivation. Et je veux aussi aller \u00e0 Verbier. Le r\u00eave de tout freerider est de rider cette montagne dans des conditions parfaites, c&rsquo;est donc ce qui me motive\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cette invitation fait de James le seul pilote britannique sur la liste et c&rsquo;est une bonne nouvelle pour la sc\u00e8ne britannique. Certains d&rsquo;entre vous, \u00e9tudiants de MINT, ont peut-\u00eatre m\u00eame eu le privil\u00e8ge de rouler avec James, qui nous rejoint fr\u00e9quemment pour un jour ou deux sur les <a href=\"https:\/\/mintsnowboarding.com\/en\/home\/snowboard-camps.aspx\">camps de Just Snowboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Le Freeride Tour est 100% naturel, 100% propre. L&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nement a pour but de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer les caract\u00e9ristiques divines du terrain que l&rsquo;on trouve sur n&rsquo;importe quel flanc de montagne dans le format le plus excitant et le plus \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire possible. Il y a une porte de d\u00e9part au sommet et une porte d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e en bas. C&rsquo;est tout. La meilleure descente gagne.
