Friends Olympic medalist Jenny Jones and Tammy Esten from MINT Snowboarding are teaming up to create a unique Junior Workshop this April in Morzine. Get your kids involved for an amazing snowboard experience they will never forget.
We are back from two days of snowboarding action at Tamworth snowdome for the Snowboard Asylum Big Bang Snowboard Show. As ever, this annual event was fully packed with coaching sessions, demo kit, pro-rider appearances, the Burton Riglet park and much, much more.
This year Tammy from Mint Snowboarding was honoured to be called in to teach all female groups with Olympians Jenny Jones and Lesley McKenna. Jenny Jones is the well known face of UK snowboarding in recent years having won bronze at Sochi in slopestyle as well as 3 X-Games gold medals. Lesley McKenna is equally legendary, a triple Olympian and the only snowboarder from the UK to have ever won a half pipe World Cup event and to have led the half pipe World Cup standings.
This power crew joined forces at Tamworth to help introduce females into freestyle snowboarding. The sessions were hugely successful, resulting in beaming faces and huge leaps in progression.

We are stoked to be heading to Tamworth for the Big Bang snowboard show on 18th & 19th October to do a couple of coaching sessions with Olympic superstar Jenny Jones. Mint instructor & founder, Tammy Esten, will be co-hosting two ladies only coaching sessions with good friend Jenny.

Quiksilver & Roxy ambassadors James Thorne and Tammy Esten (also Mint instructor) have just got back from a 2 week hectic tour of the UK to spread the nations love for Quiksilver, Roxy, Mint Snowboard School & Just Snowboard Camps. From Exeter to Glasgow they visited pretty much every city in between, stopping off at Ellis Brighams, Snow & Rocks and a whole bunch of other snowboard stores as well.
Highlights included: a fantastic old hotel in Liverpool, which was very much haunted if you believe in that kind of thing; travelling around London on the worlds smallest tandem, heavily laden with giveaways, flyers & a surfboard; and a few fantastic meals (not mentioning the bad ones) including a catch up with Mint’s unofficial Supervisor Jenny Jones in Bristol.
Let the photos tell the tales:
