Its the time of year for creative video contests! Last week Morzine hosted the infamous annual Cavern 24-7 Film Festival with some awesome entries. And now a brand new snowboard creative video contest for girls called ‘A Brit Weird’ has just been launched.
A Brit Weird hopes to encourage girls to get out in crews and film their shred, in any way possible to enter into a contest and win some awesome prizes. We think it’s a great year to run a contest like this, with loads of girls getting on boards!
The contest is open to all girls in the UK and Brits abroad, edits must be no longer 5 minutes, and it’s not all about the action, they are looking for creativeness too. And it’s not limited to snowboards, ski’s too.. or jump on a skateboard for some added footage! Closing date for entries: 20th April.
Here at Mint we want to make sure we are seeing the raddest seasonnaire snowboarders coming from Morzine Avoriaz so decided we wanted to offer some help!

There’s no doubt that a lot of fun was had on last April’s Girls Snowboard Camp in Morzine. Snow was plentiful, the sun shone, smiles & laughter in abundance and great shredding was had by all.
Everyone was on excitement overdrive when British global slopestyle superstar Jenny Jones joined the crew to coach for a day. Jenny’s positive & encouraging approach to snowboard coaching helped inspire everyone to step up their game.
Here are some photos taken later in the week.
